Offering guest rooms, restaurants, meeting spaces, and a townhouse, it’s a symbol of the city’s hospitality. Once home to Scottish kings and the Metropolitan Police Detective Department, it was repositioned as a destination by Lulu Group.

Idea

Working closely with the developers and architects from start to finish, our aim was to create a flagship offering: an unmatched experience for every guest that represented the site’s rich past and modern significance. From the hotel’s name and identity through to the overall guest experience, our concept of ‘unlocking London’s secret’ was woven into every element of the brand, leveraging the stories of the building’s provenance and individualism to add distinction and depth.We combined historical elements with modern luxury, from the interior design to the townhouse accommodations a was told story through every detail, making sure guests felt connected to the building’s rich heritage.

The doors are open to the city and the world, and the client has kept the original branding strong. The result is a one-of-a-kind development that combines its rich history with the elegance of five-star hospitality. The hotel’s unique identity, tied to its origins, creates a sense of place that attracts both history lovers and luxury travelers, earning rave reviews for its standout appeal.
